2010: The year of change.

i hate when people say that they "hope" that the new year is gonna be better than the last. because to me, hoping is not gonna do you any good. think of all the things you ever hoped for in your life, im pretty sure that alot of those things you wished and hope for never got to you. im not trying to be negative here or anything, im just speaking my feelings and views on things.

instead of just wishing and hoping for a new year and better memories, get up and do something about. only you can make memories that will last a life time, and only you can make the choices that will effect how good your year goes.

09 was a crazy ass year for me, on the real. i feel like ive experienced and went through so much shit. i finally know whats important to me and what brings me real happiness. before i wouldve wanted to be at gourmets waiting till everyone meets up and goes to iges and party. living everyday with no job trying to survive and just skate everyday was cool and all, but the times are a changing and so am i. i was all about staying out late partying, getting drunk and drugs. never coming home and hardly ever talking to my family. i realize that i would much rather be at home with the family, eating a hot home cooked meal. sharing a couple of joints with the girlfriend and the brother in law, while downing a couple of green bottles. i wanna get close with my sisters children and get close with my parents again. 09 also made me realize who my real friends are and taught me to be careful with who you trust these days.

2010 is gonna be a year of making new mistakes and learning from those, instead of repeating mistakes that ive already been through. its a year of thinking things through all the way and responsibility. its a year of making relationships stronger and bonds tighter. its a year of living right and not just living high. but most importantly its to show everyone the true person that i am, 2010 is gonna be the year to show people that im gonna get somewhere in life.

i really miss hanging out with you guys. not anything specific, but just hanging out doing whatever life is throwing at us in that moment. just enjoying each others company.

i know that no matter how much of us have jobs and are doing our own things. there will always be times where we are together again, just chillin, being ourselves. and those are the times we all must truly be thankful for.
